Quadrant — the daily 16-word sorting puzzle

How to play Quadrant

Quadrant is a free daily puzzle. Sixteen items are hidden in four sets of four. Select four items you think belong together and press Submit. A correct set collapses into a labelled band; a wrong guess costs one of your four lives. If three of your four picks belong together, you get a hint. Your score is how many mistakes you make: finish with none for a perfect run.

Sets range from easy to devious, and some items are red herrings that look like they fit somewhere else. Each day has a theme: film night, football, music or a wildcard.

FAQ

How often is there a new puzzle?

Once a day, at local midnight. Everyone gets the same puzzle.

What happens if I repeat a guess?

Repeating an identical guess does not cost a life.

How do I share my result?

When the game ends, press Share. The card shows coloured squares for each guess and never reveals the answers.

Can I replay old puzzles?

Yes. Open the results panel to find links to recent days; archive days do not affect your streak.

Is Quadrant free?

Yes, free to play in your browser, with no sign-up.
